Garden Music @ Government HouseSummer is just around the corner and we’re already starting to fill our diaries with the ‘outdoorsy’ events where we can get our pastey Winter skin out into the Summer sun.  Mmm, feel the burn!  One of the events that caught our eagle eye recently is the upcoming Garden Music festival at Government House.

Picnic and dance at this harbourside garden party and experience new musical sounds in the majestic surrounds of Government House.  Relax on the lawns, explore the house, play a spot of croquet, soak up the views, and enjoy the fine food and wine.

Live acts include:

HERMITUDE: multi- instrumentalists whose Cuban influenced rhythms blend their formal jazz, and classical backgrounds into a new hip hop sound.

MISTA SAVONA: complete with his high energy 10 piece band play jumping raw roots reggae, dancehall; hip hop and heavyweight dub.

ENTROPIC: travel from stompin’ dance floor beats to jazzy percussive melodies bridging the gap between acoustic and electronic.

TECOMA: combines her award winning vocals with country, jazz and roots music, drum n bass rhythms, and sampled beats.

We’ll see you there!  Come and say hello. We’ll be the ones with RAYV stickers all over us :)
