Kids at the House – Hamlet
Sydney Scene | Shane | August 9, 2009 at 6:12 pm
Imagine Hamlet performed by two actors and two musicians playing double basses…
Devastated by the loss of his father, Hamlet’s sense of self, family and his place in the world crumbles when the man his mother marries is shown to be his father’s murderer. As the Prince of Denmark’s reality falters, Hamlet’s dealings with those who love him suffer the consequences. Set in the twilight years between youth and adulthood, Hamlet explores the universal themes of fortune, fate, deception, loyalty and revenge.
