botThe Gardens & Domain at the Royal Botanic Gardens, an oasis of 30 hectares in the heart of the city. Wrapped around Farm Cove at the edge of Sydney Harbour, the Royal Botanic Gardens occupy one of Sydney’s most spectacular positions. Established in 1816, the organisation is the oldest scientific institution in the country and home to an outstanding collection of plants from Australia and overseas.

Consisting of 18 feature gardens, there’s plenty to check out and get snap happy with your camera or just relax and enjoy the surroundings.

A great place to get out for the day and enjoy inner city gardens.
