Here is a great way to spend a day if your an amateur or professional cat lover, The 2010 Summer Cat Show presented by Queensland Feline Association.

There will be all sorts of breeds,from kittens and cats.

Watch the felines being judged. Also a chance to talk to breeders and exhibitors.

If your looking for a new kitten for the family this is always a great place to start.

When? Sun 24 January 2010

Christmas movie in the park

The kids are on holidays and your looking for something fun and free to do with the family leading up to Christmas?

Conrad Treasury will screen the family classic, “Elf” out in Queen’s Park on Friday December 18, from 7pm.

There will also be a sausage sizzle from 6:30pm, to raise money for the Cerebral Palsy League, who provide services and support to people with Cerebral Palsy and related disabilities.

South Bank Christmas Fireworks

One of my favourite times of the year when South Bank comes alive with magical colours of the South Bank Christmas fireworks explode off the Brisbane River. Best viewing point head to the Cultural Forecourt.

Moonlight Cinema

Running from December 9 to February 21 in New Farm Park at the Brisbane Powerhouse, this is the perfect way to spend an evening in the great outdoors. See the full program.

The Best Ice Cream

Cold Rock ice creamery sells the best ice cream. The Best is Cold Rock. If you love ice cream and have a favourite flavour like crushed freddo and mini m&ms, or like to try something different every time, they have heaps to choose from and you can make your own up. I love the normal flavour of Rum and Raisin, and have not been to a ice creamery that matches the perfect flavour to date. I definitely recommend Cold Rock to anyone who enjoys ice cream.

The Noodle Box

I never thought noodles could taste so good until I found The Noodle Box, service 100% and quality 100%. I will be definitely going back for my regular dose of yummy Noodle Box noodles. (Did I mention the yummy spring rolls too?)
