<p>The Australian Museum is showing the state of art Dinosaur exhibition, which explores how they lived and died millions of years ago.</p>

<p>There are many different activities within the exhibition that will keep you and family captivated in the extinct time warp. For example the dinosaur world is brought to life through a range of imaginative techniques including dramatic lighting effects, hands-on fossil specimens, touch screen computers, interactives and huge projected scenes.</p>

<p>Organised by Co.As.It -Italian Association of Assistance &#8211; their aim is to promote an authentic event that educates, celebrates and remains true to the Italian culture and heritage of the Leichhardt community. The much-anticipated event will see Norton Street transform into a whirlwind of colour and excitement featuring traditional entertainment and activities.</p>
<p>Highlights include, Nonni in Cucina hosted by Joanna Savill, wine, cheese and olive oil appreciation workshops by Italianicious Magazine, Slow Food Sydney&#8217;s pesto competition and communal street dining, osteria (tavern) style, hosted by Barilla.</p>

<p>Something  for the big and little kids and of course for a great cause.  The <a href="http://www.chw.edu.au/tbp/" title="Teddy Bears' Picnic" target="_blank">Teddy Bears&#8217; Picnic</a> is happening on <strong>Sunday 19th October</strong>, from <strong>10.30am &#8211; 4pm</strong> at the <strong>Rosehill Gardens</strong>, <strong>Rosehill</strong>.  All proceeds from the day go towards the <a href="http://www.rayv.com.au/biz/55112" title="Children's Hospital at Westmead on RAYV" target="_blank">Children&#8217;s Hospital at Westmead</a>.</p>
<p>The Teddy Bears&#8217; Picnic is a fun family day out with a great atmosphere and plenty to do. The event is organised for all ages, including parents, and includes a wide range of activities such as face painting (one of RAYV Man&#8217;s other favourite past times), jumping castles (Woohoo!), an exciting Centre Stage Concert, showbags, rides, sports clinics, a giant sandpit and much more. Your all inclusive one low ticket price includes all activities, shows, rides and parking!</p>
<p>This is a perfect day out  for the family and friends.</p>
