This is the story of three lost souls at the edge of Savage River – now just a dam, a mine and a ghost town in Tasmania’s north-west.

From a ramshackle hut by the water, Kingsley forages a living with his young son, Tiger. Times are tough and money in short supply, but with good-humour, invention and resilience they make the best of it, bundled together as family.

One night, Kingsley brings home a stranger, the beguiling Jude. Seemingly in trouble, disorientated and with a moral compass way out of whack, she unwittingly changes three lives overnight.

Be part of the climate solution!

10am Barangaroo
Hickson Rd, Millers Pt.

March through The Rocks and Circular Quay

We are facing a climate emergency. Climate change is already affecting people in Australia and across the world.

We urgently need the Australian Government to invest in renewable energy, renew our economy, and help ensure a safe climate future for all. Instead, Prime Minister Rudd has announced a climate plan that will lock in weak emission reduction targets and hand out billions of dollars to polluters.

The world’s best chance to avoid catastrophic climate change lies in a new global climate change agreement that will be forged in Copenhagen in December this year. We need Kevin Rudd to support, not hinder, a strong outcome.

Join with thousands of Australians on 13th June to stand up for urgent action and climate leadership. Wear red for urgency.

Together we can convince the Government to wake up and work for a safe, just, and prosperous future for everyone.

Visit www.climaterally.org for details.

Organised by the Community Climate Network and supported by a broad alliance of organisations and networks. See www.climaterally.org for more details.

City of Sydney is proud to support the National Climate Emergency Rally

Mo Johnson was born in Glasgow, Scotland but moved to Sydney in 1991. She currently works at an all-boys high school where she teaches English and Drama which is evident in her particularly strong and authentic rendering of teenage life.

Ed, Steve and Tom are lifelong mates but for the first time since pre-school, the ‘three amigos’ are drifting apart. Ed’s high hopes for his football career with the Bombers’ Youth Squad have come crashing down to earth and Steve has become totally self-obsessed.

Tom has become an agony aunt for a teen-girl magazine to prove a point to (and maybe even impress) the hottest and most hated girl in school, but what will happen to their once strong friendship?
